Today I will be reviewing a famous Instagram slime shop called Scented Slime by Amy!

I first purchased 2 items from her shop about a month ago. I was in love with her products and found the quality very reassuring and professional. So I decided to make a second purchase of two slimes (that I will be showing you below) Amy then sent an additional package full of extra slimes and goodies for no charge! I was so confused when I opened the package hoping that I didn’t get someone’s order because I would feel so bad if I did. I double checked the package and reassured myself. Turns out, this slime was indeed for me! I was beyond happy and grateful that Amy did such an awesome deed for me! That was an act of kindness that she did not have to do and I appreciate that. Now on to the review!

Presentation and Packaging - 10/10 

The presentation of all of her slimes does not go unnoticed. Amy lines up the top logo on the lid with the logo on the front identifying what slime it is. I appreciate that she includes the type of slime or name of the slime, on the front that way you know which slime is which. I’ve seen on other slime companies they do not do this step and it makes it hard to find out which slime you purchased. Amy also includes a “non-edible do not eat” reminder for the little ones who play with her slime. Altogether her packaging and presentation is a 10 out of 10!

1st slime to review is my 1st slime to be purchased,

BLUEBERRY FLAPJACKS

This slime is a mix between a jiggly and fluffy slime. The smell is amazing and not super over powering. It really does smell like blueberry pancakes. I’m not sure how she achieves that, but she did. Included inside is four little charms that look exactly like blueberries which I thought added a really unique touch. It was a little bit sticky but she adds a small packet of Borax. She also gives you directions on how to mix it up in case you need to fix the stickiness of your slime. It didn’t need that much borax, but after I added it in, the texture was just perfect. It’s been about a month and the slime consistency has stayed the same! 

CARMEL APPLE

This slime is definitely a butter slime and most likely made with airsoft or Daiso clay. This texture is one of my favorites. It is so smooth and is not sticky at all, as a butter slime should be. The smell has a little bit more Apple to it than it does Carmel. She includes a mix of two colors that way you can mix it yourself. I did not need to add borax to this slime at all the consistency was great. However, it is a month from the time it was purchase and the slime has deflated to about half of the jar. This slime did get a little tough feeling as if it was drying out so I added lotion to make it stretchy and more smooth. I feel like this is something that happens often due to the ingredients that is put into butter slime. Although I am not 100% sure.

CAKE BATTER ICECREAM

This next slime is a very thick based fluffy slime. The cake batter smell is absolutely spot on. She includes a little package of toy sprinkles to mix into your slime. It is a good thing she reminds us that it is not edible because they all smell so delicious it makes you just want to eat them up!  Along with this slime she included a spray called “The Fix“. Amy sells a mix of her borax water or activator solution in cute little spray bottles . This makes it easy for you to spray your slime if needed.  This slime was a little sticky only due to packaging and shipping. It only needed a couple sprays and it was good to go! What a great texure!

VIOLACEOUS

This slime is beautiful! The colors are so vibrant. The smell is super strong so if you don’t like grape scent this probably isn’t for you. This two toned cloud slime feels absolutely amazing. This is my first cloud slime ever. She includes a little grape charm inside the slime. Cloud slime has an unusual texture and I’ve always wanted it but never could make it on my own. Amy did an awesome job at making the texture of her cloud slime. It is something I’ve never felt before. I had to add some of The Fix to this slime because it was sticking to my table pretty bad. After I fixed it the texture was great however it’s still a little sticky but I do not want to over borax it because I don’t want to consistency to change completely. Overall my first cloud slime experience was pretty great!

THE GREAT PUMPKIN BUTTER

If you love the pumpkin scent, you will absolutely adore this butter slime. This slime is one of my favorites. The texture is so smooth and buttery and it comes with a little pumpkin charm. When you purchase this slime, Amy also gives you a small container of a white slime. It seems to smell like marshmallows or whipped cream. Once you mix these two together it is the exact smell of a pumpkin pie. Absolutely amazing job on the slime! Not sticky at all, I just added a little bit of The Fix so that the texture is to my liking. Hopefully it doesn’t deflate as much as my caramel apple slime did. Only time will tell. Overall this is still my favorite slime.

FUZZY SWEATER WEATHER

This slime is also a part of her Fall collection. It is another cloud slime that includes little sparkly leaf glitters. The texture feels amazing and falls/ stretches much better than the grape one. The scent of this one smells like fresh linens and a hint of what Fall should smell like! The smell is very comparable to one of the candles at Bath and Body Works. I love The idea of calling this cloud slime fuzzy sweater weather only because the texture and the name go perfect together the smell is spot on. Overall the slime is a great concept.

BAMBOO

Last but not least for the slime haul is a slime called Bamboo. The texture of the slime is something that I have never seen or felt before. It is so vibrant and has a really strong fresh scent. Also includes a little adorable panda charm. The texture of the slime feels like pop rocks or sand. It is so fizzy and feels absolutely amazing. I did have to add a lot of The Fix into it because it was so sticky but after I did that the consistency and texture is exactly where I want to be. It still has the same fizzing effect after adding The Fix to it.  This is one of the coolest ones that I received only because the texture is so different and really mesmerizing to feel.

Amy also included some extras such as, little candies, a keychain, and some candy corn! The prices of her slime are affordable and go by how much slime you want. I believe that they are two different size containers that you can purchase from. Also! I do not own any of these photos. All

To end this review, I would say that Amy is obviously doing something right here. If you have never purchased slime before or are questioning the idea, definitely go check out scented slime by Amy! On Instagram, she has super cute videos of her slimes so you can see what it looks like and how they work before purchasing. I had an amazing experience purchasing from scented slime by Amy and 100% recommend her to anyone asking about slime.
