An Important Message
I want to start off my saying that my family and I are safe and okay and we survived Irma. As most of you may know, ( hence the name ".FL" ) I am from central Florida and was effected by this past hurricane. It hit my state pretty hard along with the Islands and Puerto Rico. No major damage was found to my house or any of my family's houses as well as no damage to my boyfriends house. (Which is where I was when Hurricane Irma took place)

To put things into perspective, 12 million people in the state of FL lost power.... 6 deaths and 1 in my area.... This was truly a devistation. My heart and prayers go out to anyone effected by this, as well as the beautiful islands and beaches taken by this monster.
Personally we are left with 1 split tree, missing shingles, a broken fence, and a lot of debris. We were thankful that this is what our situation was post Irma.
I want to say a HUGE thank you for everyone on Facebook, my friends and family who checked up on me who are not from Florida. I appreciate all of you and your concerns. I also want to thank a lot of you through the Disney community. I had some genuine, amazing people who I've never even met very concerned about my well being during this storm. I'm blessed be apart of such an amazing community who looks out for one another. Thank you for your messages during the storm as well as your prayers and love.
To those who had messaged me, It truly is incredible to know so many people care for me. My heart is warm. Thanks for showing me your support and also my sunshine state!

I've seen many groups, organizations, fundraisers, and auctions already dedicated to helping Florida out during this time of need and desperation. I know South Florida was hit by Irma quite a bit and they could definitely use that help. I appreciate all of you who got involved in these amazing support/repair groups.
The good news is that Disney World is still standing! Thank goodness. But thanks again so so much to everyone who checked in on me during the hurricane.
Xoxo
